Meet your instructor

I’m Mary Olaniran—violinist, performer, and music educator with over 11 years of experience. As the founder of Marviotone, I combine my passion for teaching and performance to inspire students of all ages and bring classical music to life.

At the same time, I’ve taught children, teens, and adults—helping each one build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.

Whether on stage or in the classroom, my goal is simple: to make music meaningful, accessible, and unforgettable.

Do I need a violin to start lessons?

Yes. You’ll need your own instrument to participate fully. We can help you choose or rent one if needed.

What styles of music do you teach?

We teach classical, contemporary, traditional African, gospel, jazz, pop, and fusion styles — all through the violin!

How do online lessons work?

Lessons are conducted via Zoom or Google Meet. You’ll receive your schedule, class link, and materials in advance. All you need is a violin, stable internet, and a quiet space.

What if I miss a class?

We offer one free reschedule per month with 24-hour notice. Recorded lessons or make-up classes may be available.
